During Covid, we're being told we must follow the science and health experts.

But what exactly is science? Can we really trust the experts? How should Adventists relate to science and experts during this pandemic? This sessions explore these and other timely questions.

Questions/Topics that will be explored include:

1. What exactly is science?

2. We're being told that we must follow the science and health experts during Covid-19. Should we follow the science in situations like the one we’re in?

3. What do we do when experts change their views?

4. What should Adventists do when experts differ in opinion?

5. Many Adventists are opposed to vaccines and since so much of the scientific and medical community are pro-vaccine, this fosters a sense of distrust of science

6. What does “evidence-based” actually mean?

7. There’s a lot of distrust of institutions and elites. Many don’t trust the government, elections, big tech, big corporations and churches. This also includes science. Can Adventist still trust institutions, elites and experts?

8. Is science and scientists as objective as they are made out to be?

9. Influence of money and corporate funding on science.

10. How can Adventists stay scientifically informed?
