Hydrothermal Therapy Certificate Program

Practical clinical hydrotherapy training for Seventh-day Adventists.

Three main program components:

Online learning on the theory and science of hydrotherapy
Practical training on various hydrotherapy modalities
Clinical experience at an Adventist lifestyle medicine immersion program

Train Seventh-day Adventists to be competent in the theory and application of evidence-based hydrotherapy and related hot and cold therapies.
More than 12 hours of online instruction diving deep into the physiological basis of how hot and cold therapies influence various systems of the body including the immune, cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal and nervous systems. You will learn the scientific evidence supporting the use of these modalities for various health conditions in the areas of rheumatology, immunology, cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, psychology and sports medicine.
Practical training on various hot and cold therapeutic modalities including: constitutional hydrotherapy (hot and cold fomentations), peat baths, fever baths, contrast hydrotherapy and more.
Gain practical in-person clinical experience as a hydrotherapy Intern at One Week In Paradise, an 8-day lifestyle medicine immersion program at Camp Frenda, Muskoka, Canada. Under medical supervision, you will apply various hot and cold modalities on actual patients.

Upon completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate in Hydrothermal Therapy.
